Advanced Training

When I started Shooting in 2006, there were no coaches who understood the Art and Science of Shooting. I learnt Pistol Shooting by reading articles of renowned coaches, and by watching videos of elite shooters on the internet. I was fortunate to understand the basics of Pistol shooting from these articles and videos, but still I had to make a lot of changes in my technique as I started competing at high levels, mostly because I did not have an experienced coach to guide me as a beginner.

Because of the challenges that I faced in the formative years of my shooting career, it was always my dream to help the young talent of this country in understanding the sport of Pistol Shooting. With this endevour in mind my husband, RonakPandit and I started the RonakPandit Shooting Centre (RPSC) to help the next generation of young shooters. Ronak, who is himself the Gold medalist of the Commonwealth Games, 2006 and Silver medallist of Asian Games, 2006, has an experience of 10 years as a coach. He has trained shooters to not only reach the National and International but also win medals. He has also been my coach since 2011 and helped me train for the Olympic Games, London 2012 and Olympic Games, Rio 2016.
